More than 20 other states and the District of Columbia have also sued the Corporation for National and Community Service.

Hurricane Helene brought devastation to much of Western North Carolina, and Aura Home Women Vets was not spared.
Here's an update on the Felicia Reeves Home in Hendersonville. All of Meadowbrook Terrace had extensive flooding, and our building was not spared.

Women have served in varying roles in the US Military since the Revolutionary War, but not officially recognized until 1948. Over 3 million women have served, and today make up approximately 18% of the Active Duty military.
