Serving Those that Served: Aura Home for Female Veterans
Join AARP NC as we highlight four local non-profits dedicated to serving those who served in the armed services. These organizations all serve military veterans in different and unique ways. We will be taking a deep dive into the needs our our vets and how these nonprofit organizations are meeting those needs.
This session will feature Aura Home, a non-profit organization projecting to provide safe, stable housing to help homeless women veterans readjust to civilian life in nine Counties of Western North Carolina. During this session, you will view a live heart-felt interview with the Aura Home’s Director and Founder, Aura Alyce Knaflich.
